27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha, India has weaken into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for  Third (10) days of July 2017

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (5-7) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu and Katha, about (1-3) feet at Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and Nyaung Oo, and forecast to fall about (1 - 2) feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the third (10) days of July.

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise about (4 - 7) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, about (2 - 3) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the third (10) days of July.
