27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining Costal areas of Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, India intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and North Odisha, India during next 12 hrs.

This is the last news for the Low Pressure Area.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of August 2017

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (5 - 7) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, and Thabeikkyin, about (3- 4) foot at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and Nyaung Oo, and about (1 - 3) feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the second (10) days of August.

 The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise about (6 -8) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, about (3-5) foot at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the second (10) days of August.
