SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States, widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthyi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayin and Mon States with regionally heavy falls in Ayeyarwady Rergion and Mon State, isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Mawlamyine (6.57)inches, Paung (5.20)inches, Kyeikkhame (5.04)inches, Chaungsone (4.65)inches, Mudon (4.45)inches, Kyeikmayaw (3.89)inches, Ngathaichaung (3.86)inches, Nyaungtone (3.57)inches, Katha (3.35)inches, Shanywarthit (3.04)inches and  Hpa-an (2.84)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining North Bay of Bengal has moved to North Bay of Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th June, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Kayah States with regionally heavy falls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Mon States, isolated heavy falls in Bago Region. Degree of certainly is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 - 12) feet in Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine States.
