Condition of Depression
According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over the West Central Bay of Bengal centered at about (140)miles South-Southwest of Paradip, (107)miles Southeast of Gopalpur (India) and forecast to move North-Northeastwards.
It is not moving towards Myanmar coasts, the present stage of the depression is coded yellow stage.
Position of depression, Center pressure and wind
Depression is located at Latitude (18.0)degree North and Longitude (86.2)degree East, Centre pressure of depression is (1002)hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is (35) miles per hour at (06:30) hrs MST today.
Next (24)hours Forecast
(a) It is forecast to move North-Northeastwards and may reach South Odisha Coasts (India) and weaken gradually.
(b) Under the influence of depression, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, Shan and Chin States, scattered in
Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.
(c) Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely attimes Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squlls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea
will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts, (4-7) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Tanintharyi Coasts.

Advisory for people, untimely rainfall and strong winds may occur during this time. Trawlers, vessels and ships off and along Myanmar Coasts are advised especially to notice in condition of the depression.
