12-9-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area has formed over the Northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal(Off South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts, India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (29) miles northeast of Mawlaik), latitude 23.83°N, longitude 94.83°E, depth (63) kilometers, about (42) miles southeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (17)hr (21)min (04)sec M.S.T on 16^th January, 2022.
