16-2-2026:  According to the observations at 13:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over the East Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining South Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Issued at (14:00) hours M.S.T on 6- 6-2021

According to the observations at (13:30) hrs MST today, due to strong to 
vigorous monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, rain or 
thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Bago, Yangon, 
Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and  Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States with 
likelihood of regionally heavy falls and isolated heavy falls during (08.6.2021)
 to (12.6.2021).

During this period, rain are likely to be (3)inches (77-mm) and above in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and  Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States within (24)hours.

          Due to the heavy rainfall, People should be awared of the natural disasters such as landslide and flash flood in the hilly areas and near small rivers.
