27-7-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining Costal areas of Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal, India intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and cross Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and North Odisha, India during next 12 hrs. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

          During th Months of May, the water levels may rise about (6-8) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and Nyaung Oo, and about (4-6)feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun of Ayeyarwady River respectively but may not reach their respective town danger levels.

          The water levels may rise about (6-8) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaung Pyin and about (4-6)feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Mingin, Kani and Monywa of Chindwin River respectively but may not reach their respective town danger levels.

          The water levels may rise about (2-4) feet at Kalay of the Myittha River, about (3-5) feet at Hsipaw, Shwesayan and Myitnge of the Dokhtawady River, about (2-4)feet at Taungoo and Madauk of Sittoung River, about (1-2) feet at Shwegyin of Shwegyin River, about (3-5) feet at Zaungtu and Bago of Bago River, about (2-4) feet at Hpaan of Thanlwin River,  about (1-3)feet at Myawady of Thaungyin River, about (2-4)feet at Ngathingchaung, Tharboung and Pathein of Ngawun River, about (1-3)feet at Maubin of Toe River, about (2-4)feet at Palewa and Kyauktaw of Kalaten River, and about (1-3) feet at Myauk U of Lay Myo River and about (3-5)feet at Bilin of Bilin River respectively but may not reach their respective town danger levels.
