SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 4°C below February average temperature in Chin State, 2°C below February average temperature in Rakhine State and 2°C above February average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, 3°C above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were -2.3°C in Hakha, 2.2°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.0°C in Mongyang, 4.9°C in Loilin, 5.7°C in Tiddim, 5.8°C in Pyinoolwin, 6.0°C in Heho, 7.4°C in Myitkyina, 8.5°C in Pinlaung and 9.8°C in Mingin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay, a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Westcentral Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th February 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin, Mon, (Northern and Southern) Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
