SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been scattered in Kachin State. During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C to 4°C below February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State, 2°C below February average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region and 2°C above February average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.0°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 4.5°C in Hakha, 5.6°C each in Tiddim and Loilin, 6.0°C in Mongyang, 6.7°C each in Mingin and Heho, 7.2°C in Pyinoolwin, 8.9°C in Kalewa, 9.2°C in Pinlaung, 9.8°C in Mawlaik and 10.2°C each in Putao and Myitkyina. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.04 inch each in Putao and Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th February 2025: Light rain are likely to be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
