SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Rakhine State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States and regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan State. Day temperatures were 2°C above April average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, 2°C below April average temperature in Mon State, 3°C to 4°C below April average temperatures in Yangon, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Northern Shan States, 5°C to 6°C below April average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kayah, Southern Shan States and 7°C to 8°C below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 40.0 °C in Pakokku, 39.2°C each in Chauk and Kawkareik, 37.0°C in Sinbyugyun, 36.7°C in Dawei, 36.2 °C in Kawthaung and 36.0°C each in Nyaunglaybin, Myeik, Hpa-an(Agro-Met) and Mawlamyine on 30-4-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 4.37 inches in Nyaung Oo, 3.62 inches in Myittha, 3.37 inches in Bogale, 3.27 inches in Kyaukpadaung, 3.11 inches in Namsan(Southern Shan), 2.80 inches in Yangon (Botahtaung), 2.72 inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye), 2.48 inches in Mawlamyinegyun, 2.32 inches in Kyaukse and 2.17 inches in Myawaddy.
BAYINFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
