BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay. Weather is a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 14th May 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Northern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7 - 9 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5 - 7 feet in off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
