30-6-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Coastal area of West Bengal, India is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards and continue across North Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand, India during next 2 days and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay, Eastcentral and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 23rd May 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7 - 9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States.
