BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 7th June 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 7th June 2025:      Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 7th June 2025:            Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 100%.

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 7th June 2025:         Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and fairly widespread in Yangon Region.
