BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th June 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States , fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Easthern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 -35 mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about 6-8 feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States.
