BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the Troipical Storm“(WUTIP)” have moved West-Northwestwards.    It is likely initially to move Northwestwards and cross to the Hainan Island, China on 13-6-2025.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th June 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Rakhine, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Chin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about 6-8 feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin,  Mon States.
