BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and strong over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th June 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be  fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw,  Bago,  Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Southern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squall with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls rain or thundershowers in Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States.
