BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th July 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Kayah, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squall with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 11-13 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Strong monsoon.
