BAYINFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Special Weather: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over West Bengal, India still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards and across Jharkhand and north Chhattisgarh, India during next 2 days.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON G OF THE 9th July 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 11-13 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
