SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kayah, Northern Shan States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Kachin, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Magway Region and isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 5.47 inches in Thayat, 4.09 inches in Hainggyigyun, 3.31 inches in Myaungmya, 3.23 inches in Myinmu, 3.19 inches in Aunglan, 3.08 inches in Kyeikkhame, 2.96 inches in Kangyidaunt, 2.72 inches in Hakha, 2.68 inches in Mandalay and 2.32 inches in Pathein.

BAYINFERENCE:  Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th July 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Mon, (Northern and Southern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate monsoon.
