SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Kayah, Chin States, scattered in Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.72  inches in Yangon(Botahtaung), 2.44 inches in Tachileik, 2.36 inches in Wakema, 2.20 inches in Thabaung, 1.89 inches in Bago, 1.70 inches in Phyarpon, 1.65 inches in Laubtta, 1.58 inches in Phyu, 1.38 inches in Namsan (Southern Shan) and 1.15 inches in Yangon(Kaba-Aye).

BAYINFERENCE:  According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area has formed over the Northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal(Off South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts, India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and across South Odisha and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh and South Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th September 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan State.
