SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (9°C) below December average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (7°C) below December average temperature in Kayah State, (5°C) to (6°C) below December average temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan and Kayin States, (3°C) to (4°C) below December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kachin and Mon States and (2°C) below December average temperature in Rakhine State and about December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Heho, (1°C) in Namsam, (2°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang, (3°C) each in Pinlaung, Kengtung, Minesat and Mogoke and (4°C)each in Lashio, Kayukmae, Pyinoolwin and Loikaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th December, 2019: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly winds may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3-6) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Decrease of night temperatures in Bago and Yangon Regions, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
