SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing Region, Kachine, Eastern Shan and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Bago Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.03) inches in Nyaunglaybin, (1.93) inches in Taungkok, (1.85) inches in Paung, (1.75) inches in Okpho, (1.50) inches each in Thandwe and Kyeikmayaw, (1.42) inches each in Tharrawady and Pathein and (1.26) inches each in Thaton and Kyeikkhame.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, (Northern and Southern) Shan and Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
