13-5-2025: Southwest monsoon has advanced into the Southern Myanmar areas, Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy  to cloudy over the South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th March, 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and  Kachin, Chin States and isolated in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin States.
