SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Southern Shan, Chin States and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Rakhine State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below November average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) below November average temperature in Kayin State and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing Region and Rakhine, Kayah States and (4°C) above November average temperature in Southern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (8°C) in Hakha, (10°C) each in Tiddim and Pyinoolwin and (12°C) each in Kyaukmae, Mongyang, Tongzan and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.08) inch in Pyinoolwin and (0.04) inch each in Kyaukse, Gwa and Manaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st November 2023: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Chin State and isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin States.
