27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha, India has weaken into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd February 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be  isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be in partly cloudy Lower Sagaing, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
