27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha, India has weaken into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud  to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 23rd February 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Kachin State.
