27-7-2024: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha, India has weaken into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State, isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay, Magway  Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin State.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 15th May 2024:             Possibility of isolated light rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 40%.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 15th May 2024:                                  Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers.  Degree of certainty is (60%).
