29-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 785 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 135 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 80 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs MST today, The wave over the border of China-Myanmar has moved West-Northwestwards and crossiong the Central Myanmar. It is likely to continue to move West-Northwestwards.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL Evening OF THE 10th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be Naypyitaw, Sagaion, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Tanithayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States  with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Mgway Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhin, Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing over the whole country.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
