2-12-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) has weaken into a Depression now lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Westcentral Bay, North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) is centered at about 755 Nautical miles West of Coco Island(Myanmar), 70 Nautical miles North-Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 15 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely continue to move slowly Southwestwards towards the North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts, India and weaken gradually into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. Weather is cloudy over the Northwest and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been widespread in the whole country with regionally heavy falls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin and Kayin States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Manaung (8.90)inches, Taungkok (8.31)inches, Kyaukpyu (7.32) inches, Tamu (6.97)inches, Htamanthi (6.02)inches, Myuak U (5.90)inches, Northern Dagon (5.71) inches, Ann (4.88)inches, Shwekyin (4.72)inches, Hkamti (4.64)inches, Belin (4.49)inches, Magway (4.29)inches, Thandwe (4.22)inches, Nyaunglaybin (4.17)inches, Thayat (4.13)inches, Paletwa and Thaton (4.02)inches each, Kyauktaw (3.98)inches and Aunglan (3.94)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
