14-10-2024:According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into well marked low pressure area around 15-10-2024 and continue to move West-Northwestwards  and may reach to North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India around 17-10-2024. Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast Bay and party cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of April 2015

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels about (2-2½) feet  at  Myitkyina, Bhamo and Katha, and about (1-1½) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway, and about (½-1) foot at  Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun .

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above  the present water levels about (1-1½) feet at Hkamti and  Homalin,  and (½) foot at Mawlaik, Kalewa and Monywa.
