SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Yangon Region and Mon State,  isolated in Thaninthayi Region and Chin State and weather has been generally fair in the Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Reagions and  partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myeik (1.41) inches, Mudon (0.71) inch, Paung and Chaungsone (0.63)inch each and Hmawbi (0.47)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 22nd October, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady  and Taninthayi Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Mon State.
