27-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “MONTHA” over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards and still persists. It is centered at about 530 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 240 Nautical miles East of Chennai(India), 260 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and intensify into Severe Cyclonic Storm on 28-10-2025 and cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night.Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Third (10) days of July 2016

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (3 - 6) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing and Myinmu, about  (1 - 2) feet at Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan and Pyay, and forecast to fall about (1 - 2) feet at Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the third (10) days of of July.

  The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall about (2-4) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and forecast to rise about (1-2) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the third (10) days of July.
