24-5-2024: According to the observations at (09:30) hrs M.S.T today, the well marked low pressure area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining South Bay of Bengal has moved Northeastwards and intensified into a depression over Central Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (300) Nautical miles North-Northwest of Coco Island, (360) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun, (395) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Gwa, (400) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Thandwe (Myanmar), (410) Nautical miles South-Southwest of Khepupara (Bangladesh) and (425) Nautical miles South of Canning (West Bangal, India). Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
