BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 15th August, 2016: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavy falls in Napyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine States. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough sea will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h.
