22-10-2024: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal almost stationary. It is centered at about 210 Nautical miles West of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), 390 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Sagar Island West Bengal (India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, North Bay, Eastcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A Slight earthquake of magnitude (4.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about 16 miles Southeast of Hta Man Thi) about (220) miles North-Northwest of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (19)hr (53)min (44)sec MST on 22nd September 2016.
