24-10-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (15:30) hrs MST today, due to the convergence of moving cold air from the west and warm air from the Bay of Bengal and Easterly waves, rain are likely to be scattered in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Northern Shan State during next (3) days commencing evening today.
