BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy over the Eastcentral and Southwest Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
