1-9-2024:According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha, India) moved Northwestwards and crossed North Andhra Pradesh Coast, close to Kalingapatnam (India). It is likely to move Northwestwards and may cross north Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha.

     According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ayeyarwady River at Myitkyina is (592) cm, the water level rose about (10) feet within(1) day.

   The water levels, which rose at upper Ayeyarwady river, may rise above their present water levels by about (8) feet to (9) feet at Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin during the next (1) to (4) days, about (6) feet to (7) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku and  Nyaung Oo during the next (5) to (8) days, about (3) feet to (5) feet at Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the next (8) to (13) days.

   It isadvised that the vessels running along the river and those who made plantations on sandbank during these period should make precaution measures for the rise of water level.
