2-12-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts and South Andhra Pradesh coasts is centered at about 750 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 80 Nautical miles Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 20 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely to recurve slowly Southwestwards and weaken gradually into a Depression during next 12 hrs.Weather is generally fair over the Andaman Sea, cloudy over the Northwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Benga.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day

Above normal rain are likely in Upper Sagaing Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayah Kayin and Mon States, about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway,  Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Northern and Eastern Shan,Chin and Rakhine States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, and Kachin Shan, Kayin and Mon States about (4) to (6) days in  Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Kayah States.
