SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been isolated in Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C)above February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, (3°C)above February average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Pinlaung and (8°C)each in Ramthlo, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kunlong (0.35)inch and Mongyang (0.04)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th February, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
