SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (6°C) above April average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C)above April average temperatures in Sagaing Region, Shan, Chin and Kayah States and (2°C) above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Kayin States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Bawlakhae, (42°C)each in Chauk and Taunggu and (41°C)each in Monywa, Myinmu, Nyaung Oo, Tada U(Avia-Met)and Gangaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2nd April, 2020: Rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
