SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T:During the past (24) hours,rain or thundershowers have beenwidespread in KachinState, fairly widespread in UpperSagaing Region,scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Chin State and isolated in Northern ShanState. Weather has been partly cloudy in Magway, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were(3°C) belowJanuary average temperature in Kayin State and (2°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, MagwayRegions and Chin, Rakhine States, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Kachin and Southern Shan Statesand (5°C) above January average temperature in Northern Shan State and about January average temperaturesin the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha,(6°C) each in Tiddim and Tongzan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (0.20)inch each in Hakha and Tiddim and (0.16)inch in Machanbaw.

BAY INFERENCE:Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28thJanuary, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will be fairy widespread inKachin State,scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and NorthernShan, Chin States.Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy inNaypyitaw, Magway Regionand (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine, Mon  States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperature in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
