BAY INFERENCE:Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18^thMay, 2022:Rain or thundershowers will beisolated in Naypyitaw and KayahState,scattered in Magway Region and Southern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread inLowerSagaing, Mandalay Regions and Rakhine State, widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegions and Kachin, Mon States.Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough sea are likely at time Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35)mph. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (5-7)feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
