SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Magway Region. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Northern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were (5.23) inches in Kyaukpyu, (2.28) inches in Monyin, (2.13) inches in Phyu, (2.01) inches in Theinzayet, (1.97) inches in Thabeikkyin, (1.85) inches in Singu, (1.77) inches in Mudon,(1.57) inches each in Loilin and Hlaingbwe, (1.34) inches each in Chi Pwe and Hainggyigyun, (1.30) inches in Kyeikkhame, (1.26)inches in Myeik and (1.18)inches in Matupi.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th June, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in MagwayRegion, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, KayahStates and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Mon States.
