SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (39°C) each in Shwebo, Myingyan, Magway, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun and Pyay. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th March 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
